If rumors are to be believed iPhone 3G will be upgrading its GPS to provide turn by turn voice directions instead of tracking just where you are.

But there are still doubts about the clarity of voice from the present speakers.Will apple upgrade the speakers for this feature and what extra they will charge?

But the good news is that this feature if it comes will be the most advanced capability of google maps to integrate into a GPS smartphone.

Such GPS utilities already are present in the market like TeleNav etc.

The official Apple iPhone forum is still silent on this issue.

Unlock iPhone 3G

Like the previous model of the iPhone,iPhone 3G also comes with only specific mobile service provider like AT&T,Airtel etc.So an unlock of the iPhone 3G is inevitable.

Presently unlocking of the iPhone can be done in two ways:-

Hardware unlock:-Opening up the iPhone is not everyone's piece of cake.Moreover,you wouldn't want to risk your hard earned money to just burn out trying to unlock your iPhone.There are two methods here too,the solder approach and the no solder approach which was developed by George Hotz.Its risky and try it only if you are geeky.
Software unlock:-This is a more easier approach.Can be tried out by yourself.This uses a software named ZiPhone which does something called the Jailbreak.

After you unlock your iPhone,any service provider can be used.Of course,the Apple warranty is now void and you are not eligible to any service.

Apple iPhone 3G in India?

iPhone may finally reach the Indian market.Yes,it is true.Bharti-Airtel and Vodafone will be launching the iPhone 3G soon in India.This is a great news for Indian apple fans who had been long waiting for iPhone's launch.Even though iPhone is being used in India at present by unlocking it,Vodafone and Bharti Airtel will provide a legitimate way of using it and exploiting all of iPhone's features.The major advantage of this launch is that it is legal,so apple's warranty is valid.

Though it will not be available on the day of iPhone's international launch,iPhone will hit the Indian markets around September.The price is not yet fixed and I predict that it will be certainly above $199.Also,what all features it will come bundled with is still an open question.

Vodafone has even started bookings for the iPhone.If you are one of those apple fans then book your iPhone right away.

Airtel customers who wish to receive more information on iPhone 3G can send an SMS with keyword "iPhone" to 54321 (toll-free).

The latest addition from apple-The iPhone 3G. The latest buzz in the mobile world market these days comes with some cool new features and an attractive price tag.The design is so beautiful anyone would fall for it.The other leading manufacturers of mobile phones are already going for a revamp in sales strategy to combat this new gadget which comes from the apple's stable.Every time history has it that as soon as a new gadget from apple is launched,the sales of its competitors comes down by a large amount.What effect the iPhone will have on the present market is yet to be seen.

Starting from the design,the iPhone 3G is sleek and you will fall for it at the first glance.Its slim,sleek and elegant.With a 3.5" LCD screen viewing videos is a whole new experience.Other attractive features include 3G i.e. the fastest connectivity,Global positioning system i.e. finding routes to any place is a piece of cake,long battery life,8 GB hard disk,24 hour music playback,2 MP camera and many more softwares that you would dream of.
